Back from Puyallup...

...with a few things.  DD and I had a wonderful time attending the Sewing Expo this past week.  DD learned a new technique, crazy quilting, that she's already tried here. Stop by and see her first 3 blocks.

My "thing" was garments.  I started out as a seamstress and it's still my first love.  A few patterns found their way into my backpack.

Along with a few new rulers.

and just a little fabric. The striped is a dress knit.

This is where Bailey has been "3" times today: up on my sewing island looking out the window. LOL

It's now time to get started on the Machine Embroidery Blog hop project. 03/19 will be "my day" so I best put my thinking cap on because my brain needs some serious help.

FYI - I hope to read some blog posts soon!!!

Hugs

I can't believe your dog can get up there! How does he do it?

Lovin' the gray, yellow, cream fabric bundles! Who's line is it? Those are my DD's favorite colors... and she's been asking for a mini quilt... Glad you and Kelli had fun!

I prefer making quilts, but I did enjoy making the dress I did last weekend. So I may just make more garments for the little ones.

I have to just laugh at your dog being on the island/counter. My dog is only 12 inch high and she will jump up there. At least for Bailey with those long legs it seems like an easy jump. I started out sewing garments too - and loved it. Every once in a while I get the itch to sew up a blouse or nightgown. Nice goodies that you brought back!

Sounds like the Puyallup show was great fun. I certainly enjoyed seeing your insights.

And, I'm amazed Bailey jumps up so high. Maybe Bailey wants to be a model for special clothing/quilt project????

Love your pup! Hmm. Did you find an embroidery project? Does it have to be Anita Goodesign? I like their little zipper pouches and the new toilet tissue roll project is adorable. Hmm I also like their foundations special edition and have been working on a farm quilt for my little one using Baby Farm
