Thank You for the Memories

Our much loved Murphy went to Doggie Heaven yesterday.  Although it was definitely a hard decision, it was the right decision.  Murphy was 13 1/2, he was with us since he was 10 weeks old.

Below is Murphy after finishing up a swim in the lake. He absolutely loved the water, whether it was a pond, a lake, the river...and even our pool when we lived in CA.    (Molly is in the background. Together they had a litter of 4 wonderful babies.)

And below is Murphy fast asleep like always - on the furniture.  We never had a problem with that.

Thank you, Murphy, for sharing your love and your life with us.  You always put a smile on my heart. That smile will remain there because your memory is in my heart.

Thank you, Lord, for giving us our pets that show us unconditional love.

Hugs.....to Murphy.

I am sorry to hear about Murphy. My guy is going on 14 this year and has kidney failure, so we have him on meds and he is doing ok for now, but I know some day I will have to make that decision.

Sending positive thoughts and prayers. I know Murphy was loved so very much that it hurts more than some may realize. He will always be in your heart, but how wonderful to have had so many great years with sweet Murphy. And, how lucky he was to live so many years with your family. Truly very special. Wish every furry four legged kid could be loved as much as Murphy.

Big quilty hug.
