Needed a quick hostess gift for a friend. These Ipad covers make up SO fast!! NO pattern, just cut, embellish and sew. I made the blue/yellow Ipad cover a few months ago. The bottom one was made for the friend today.
You can see how I put the zipper on the same side of the rick rack on mine and embroidered "Cindy's Ipad" on it (hard to see but it's there).
I put Karee's zipper on the other side this time - just to be different.
On Karee's, I embroidered her name under the rick rack (left over rick rack from the apron I made yesterday which is here.
Both fabrics are double sided prequilted I've had in my stash for years. That Magic Closet is fulfilling alot of sewing this year.
I learn something every day. Most of you probably already knew this but it was new to me as I heard it on the radio this morning. Did you know that every "Leap Year" is in a Presidential Election year? Okay, so I "AM" the only one that did not know this. LOL

I agree with Kaaren, They are so cute and I need one but I too have a zipper phobia....maybe that is something I need to master this year as well.
I love the concept of the magic closet - we all have one! I think I will make a "list" of all the things in my Magic Closet :)
