I have no idea where this FQ bundle came from that I found in my fabric stash yesterday as I was looking for fabrics for Darlene's Mystery Quilt. As you can see, it is just in a big plastic bag tied with a piece of fabric.
The FQs are all Jo Morton from Andover Fabrics. There are "28" FQs ranging from beiges to browns.
I just phoned DD, Kelli, and she has agreed to take them off my hands. I'll be delivering them to her in a couple days.
I am having SEW much fun going through my fabric stash closet. I'm finding all sorts of things I bought that I'd forgotten about.
I had fallen in love with "Park Avenue" by 3 Sisters when it came out. I do the majority of my buying when it's on sale. I am SO excited I came across this wonderful array of Park Avenue: a Layer Cake, 2 Jelly Rolls, 2 Charm packs, 3 large fabric pieces and remnants left over from "whenever " I used it before to make something (I have no memory of what I even made, LOL)
What's especially nice is the habit I started "way back when": I "pack" any and all pieces of a fabric line together in a ziploc so I don't have to go searching to see if I have any of that particular line. DD can attest to this because as she comes over to browse "The Closet", she knows if it's in a ziploc, it's probably "to be used" for something because it's all one line or it's a kit I purchased or put together myself. I even have certain "drawers" that are saved for a particular line.
Got to love having a fabric stash closet....
Hugs

I love Jo Morton and 3 sisters fabrics. Your daughter will have a great time going through those fat quarters.
Do you have plans for the 3 sisters fabric?

Oh yummy to both lines! I want a magic closet too! LOL
Can I come and play in your stash closet? Looks like you might have more of my favorites. Love Jo Morton fabrics.
Did you manage to find any for Darlene's mystery quilt?
My all time favorite fabric is Jo...so I know yours didn't come from me! Lol. Are you making Darlene's mystery quilt?
That is wonderful fabric to find and your daughter will enjoy making a quilt with it. I do enjoy going through my stash sometimes, we do tend to forget what we have;)

Wish I had a stash closet like that! Gorgeous fabrics you uncovered there. :)
What fun for your daughter! Lucky you to have a daughter that also is a quilter! I have a lovely creative daughter but her creativity leans towards pen and paper rather than quilting!
Almost like Christmas shopping and never leaving home.
I do love it when I find a pleasant fabric surprise in my stash!!
