Tumbler Island-Runner

Finished in One Day:

The kitchen-island table runner, using the GO 3 1/2" die and 2 charm packs of Primitive Gatherings.

Measures 40 1/2" by 13 1/4"
As said in yesterday's post, I just wanted to make something fun, fast and easy.  I am at my best when I don't  plan.  We had a small square tabletopper on the island which was stained so this was a much needed project.
Below is what happened as I went along....
Yes, that pinhead is actually sewn in the seam!
I didn't even know this happened at the time.  LOL  I was using my Bernina 630.
At some point, and I don't remember where or when, someone mentioned that possibly photos uploaded to Blogger easier via Picasso?  Anyone have any info on that?  Thank you.

Plans today?  Don't have any. That's not a bad thing for me.
Happy Wednesday.

Hugs

Hi Cindy, Using Picasa is a great thing...I have been using it for years but I now use it for pictures on my blog. High Upon the Hill... highuponthehill.blogspot.com.
When you download the program you will find a "blog this" button at the bottom. If you do not see it can be added through help. Very easy to do. Once you have this button you can blog several photos at a time and they will go directly to your blog in a file.!

Good luck - couldn't live without it!

I love it!! Now you make me want the tumbler dies. (Does that make you an enabler?? LOL!!) It's perfect in every way.

You've inspired me. Now I'm going to my sewing room and stitch a seam or two on the runner I'm making, even though I still need to wash my hair and get out of my nightgown. BUT!!! Sewing awaits! :-)

Just lovely. Such nice, clean lines. Am loving it!! I had difficulty uploadinging pictures into blogger yesterday, too. I just switched to HTML and uploaded them there. Was pretty easy. But I'm going to check out Picasa. Such a bother, huh?

Beautiful runner Cindy! I've never made a tumbler project, but I may need to after seeing yours :-) Very inspirational! I thought photos went through Picasa anyway to be put on blogger. Recently I discovered I had a Picasa web album that I didn't know I had.

Those are your colors Cindy! I love the runner. It's great. I have been using that Picasa some. I load pictures on my phone, (blogger on phone) save them then go to my computer and finish my blog. It's too much work. Sure wish they would fix it.
