One More Finish

Had one more finish for 2012:

3 Mug Rugs / Mini Quilts,  each measuring 16" by 8".   I say "mug rugs /  mini quilts" because you could use these as either.  I plan on hanging them on the wall underneath my kitchen counter (right above the kitchen counter).
I used the Accuquilt GO  "Small Houses by Reiko Kato" for the appliqué.  All fabrics are from my scrap drawer.

Also wanted to share this awesome quilt DD, Kelli, made for me for Christmas.  Everyone knows I'm a "Weimaraner" girl, having 4 of them.  I just love it.  She does all her quilting on her Bernina 430 with the BSR foot.  She was the daughter that I thought would never sew.  Boy, was I wrong!!!

And here's something else she made for me: A crocheted "OWL" hanging. (Yes, I like owls too but don't have one, LOL!)  I have yet to press it after unwrapping it, it's actually 3D, the owls "popping out".  I'm so proud of DD, she makes me smile "sew" much!

I'm still learning the Pictures/Iphoto on the Macbook.  If anyone has any suggestions as to how to downsize the pixels, please email me.  The recent pics I'm using take too long (as least I think so) to load into Blogger.  Or do they take long for you too?

Wishing you all a sincere Happy New Year.  Thank you for accepting me back into your Blog lives.
I like how Carol came up with a "word" for 2013.  I might have to think of one...hmmm..

One Day Soon......

Hugs.
