A few pics of things made recently for Christmas already given away:
A set of "Charmed" roll (neck) pillows
A 6" square decorative pillow/pincushion:
Set of 3 appliquéd grocery bags:
And a little fun:
This is the day we adopted our "Bailey" from the AZ Weimaraner Rescue in Phoenix. After getting her home, I had to make her a "Fat Suit" because she kept getting out of our fence. I just did a regular doggie coat and made the sides "deeper" to insert heavy duty, stiff stuffing. After a few months she didn't have to wear it anymore. Not only did she want to stay with us, she put on muscle from walking so many miles with me. When we got Bailey, she weighed just under 50 pounds, was left chained up in Palm Desert, CA in the severe heat for months. Neighbors called the Doggie Patrol to rescue her. She ended up in the AZ Rescue because no one wanted her in CA. She now weighs 65 pounds and is ALL muscle. She does a 10 mile jaunt with me with no problems! We've had Bailey 11 months. She is around 3(ish).
And, as pictured once before, below is our rescued "Will", now weighing in at a 100 pounds. When he was turned into the Rescue, he weighed 151 pounds (poor sweetie). He now can walk 4 miles with me with no problem. He was turned in because the family simply did not want him anymore. He's the MOST lovable Weimaraner we've ever had....my lapdog...LOL We've had Will roughly 5 months. He will be 8 in January.
Sending you "Happy Friday" wishes.
Hugs

What a sweet baby!!! I enjoy seeing what you make. It just dawned on me...was it your birthday earlier this month?!!! If so...happy late birthday and gosh hate to say it with birthday....BUT wishing you and your family a happy holiday..doggies too.
You've been a busy girl...what sweet, precious babies...how could anyone say that just didn't want Will anymore...look at that face...and Baily is a doll. Oh you're such a good momma. Merry Christmas to you!
Your projects are wonderful as always, they each made someone very happy I'm sure! You're such a wonderful person to adopt the dogs and bring them happiness again, kudos to you! 10 mile jaunt? LOL I am thrilled when I make it 3 miles, but 2 works best for me. I often get nauseous when I go much further.
Your new pups are adorable, Cindy.
Bless you for giving them a loving new forever home.
Cute, cute things! And cute doggies, too. Merry Christmas, Cindy! :-)
Merry Christmas to you Cindy! I love your little projects... is the neck roll an original creation? Thank you for sharing the story of Bailey and Will. They certainly are beautiful and look so happy. It warms my heart.
Have a wonderful New Year's.
