Doll Sleeping Bags

Two 18" doll sleeping bags.

Even though the fabric used is double-sided quilted fabric, I still lined both in white so there are no raw edges to get caught up in the zippers. The zippers go down one side and across the bottom. Shown below is how, even though the pillows can lift, they are attached, completely machine washable and dryable. The appliqued hearts are cut using the GO.

When delivered to DGD this morning, she immediately put her two dolls in them. I did get MORE than one hug....LOL....and "that" makes any Grandma happy.

SPECIAL NOTE: Our internet service has been "in and out" so please forgive me if I haven't got back to your comments yet. I definitely will though...and thank you.

OMG! What a great idea! Did you use a pattern for those or just figure it out yourself? My kids would freak out if I made some for them.

Darling! The girls have some for their dolls, but store bought. Not nearly as nice as yours! :-)

Very cute. I have a great niece that I think would like these. I'll check with her and see. Had never thought about this before. You are so creative. Thanks for sharing your insights. Delightful.

I hope you'll give serious thought about creating a magazine article on this. Great sewing project and gift idea.
