Mixer Cover

My own pattern for my Kitchen Aide Mixer Cover...I had googled the web for a link to see if there were any free patterns available to download and I came across this link - which also has a free downloadable Kitchen Aide Mixer Embroidery Design.

However, after looking at the directions - I guess you can see I drew up my own pattern after making my own sample out of muslin. I kept tweaking the sides and curved corners until I had a "closer" fit rather than your traditional "box" look. This is single-sided prequilted fabric. You can see I did use the idea of an added pocket on one side. Now I can make one for our DIL's KitchenAide mixer as well as another one for myself out of Christmas fabric. And, I'll be making my own quilted fabric.

As before, I will now draw this pattern on Pellon's True Grid and keep the pattern for future use.

Thanks Vail, I have to admit I really enjoyed creating my own pattern for this. And, LOL, now I'll make more for people who have this brand of mixer.

I made a cover for my Kitchaid Mixer, but it isn't anything near as nice as yours. Although I did embroider mine with a flying chef.

DID YOU SAY YOU'D MAKE THEM FOR OTHER PEOPLE THAT HAVE THAT MIXER!?!?!

Well, put me in line! You know my favorite color.

Great job, I love the pocket on it as well.

Your RSS feeds are being wonky for me, here I thought you hadn't been blogging, and now 4 posts show up in my reader all at once.
